Parc Monseigneur-Vel
In 1944, parish priest Mgr Origène Vel purchased land to establish a summer camp for young offenders. In 1962, the Salesian College built Camp Savio there for disadvantaged youth, now known as Aux Berges Dominique‑Savio. Across from the site, the Odanak Islands are renowned for their magnificent white pines and the presence of the bald eagle.
